I’ve heard this too many damn times. I’m starting to give up on this entirely. Someone, please tell me who hasn’t taken advantage of me or hurt me before they realized how real I was with them. Anybody..? I’ve been trying to be the best person I can. Always putting others before myself, because it’s better to be selfless rather than selfish. I will go out of my way to help someone out, even if they hate my guts. I will forgive the assholes who cheated me even though they don’t deserve one bit of it. I will be your friend and see the good in you even though I heard about all the shit you said about me when I wasn’t supposed to know. I will pull all nighters for you to vent about your life issues even when I know you’ll just abandon me after you’re good. I will take all the time I have or that you’ll give me to try to convince you to do the right thing because I would never want anyone to go through any of the bullshit I already had because I truly care, even if you don’t want to believe it, I do. I’m honestly fed up with people saying I deserve better when no one is willing to show it or prove it to me. It’s getting real old..
