The seniors had a tiny rant today about disrespectful underclassmen. Basically, we wanna know what the fuck is going on nowadays. I mean, not only at my school, but at other schools too. I’m hearing so many messed up stories about this bullshit.
When we were freshmen, we wouldn’t dare step up to a senior, let alone call them out. When we were freshmen and a senior acknowledged or smiled at you, if you didn’t acknowledge them back, you’d be done for. But now, they’d sass at you and give dirty looks left and right for no reason. When we were freshmen, we would hug the walls in the hallway to let seniors have their way. I mean, they must be really busy right, so why get in their way? But now, they’d take their sweet time and bump you if you got in their way.
We went on and on about how bad things got. Sorry to say, but you don’t run the school and neither do we. We’re not trying to be mean. I’m just saying, know your place. Mind your own business. Stop thinking everyone is out to get you. It’s true, we are busy and have so many other things to worry about. We’ve got no time to deal with underclassmen drama. Us seniors aren’t asking you to bow down to us and kiss our feet, we’re just asking for respect. And it should be a mutual respect, is that so much to ask for? Just be considerate, that’s all. If you treat people like dirt, expect the same thing back. But that goes to everyone, ‘cause karma will most definitely kick your ass.
